Dwarves

With brute strength, driven passion, and a knack for ingenuity all packaged into small beings, the dwarves are the pioneers of man. Fabled to have been inventing since the creation of the wheel and beyond. Their preference to crafting over wielding a weapon should not be underestimated, as they know their way around an edged blade better than the next person. Do be warned, do not bring up anything about their size or they’ll stand taller by ensuring you’re 6 feet under. They are quick to snap at the slightest insult, especially if it is within their workspace.

In contrast to their small size, they are built like a tank with the muscles to show for it, although some can lean towards being on the thicker side if they choose to replace their blood with ale. With that being said, when a Dwarf is not working, they are usually drinking. After a hard day’s work, Dwarves like to drink until they can’t feel the ache in their bodies. A moment for merrymaking and let loose a bit. However, anyone can understand that a short temper and ale don’t mix well, as it is a recipe for the uncommon, but not unheard of, routine bar fight that Dwarves will partake in. This is something they deem as a pass time when they aren’t drinking or working. They are fighting.

One of the fews things Dwarves are known for as a race is their extravagant ties towards their beards. A Dwarf’s beard is usually a telltale sign of a working man that has too little time to be worrying about something trivial, so a large beard will command a lot of respect among their peers. Same thing could be said about their hair, but to a lesser degree. So to a certain degree of hygiene, they will resort to tying up their hair and grooming it of stray strands so that it would not restrict their mobility during their work or catch fire from the tiniest cinder.

Dwarves have always prided themselves in their craftsmanship and believe they are second to none, possibly being the first men that walked upon earth and stone. Feeling they have a deeper connection to the world because of that and have thrived from their principles and capabilities. This can be evident in their average lifespan, which can reach up to 350 years. Their long lives enable them to gain experiences of 4 life times.

So by that logic, why should they not have full rein over the Earth Star? In comparison to Goblins and Dark Elves, the dwarves live longer and have been on the planet longer than they have. And yet they so blindly pride themselves into being superior craftsmen than Dwarves ever could, and act like the Earth Star is their birthright. They simply cannot understand.
